Born and raised in Silver Rock deep in the Windshear Mountains, Lunaris was trained in the arts of sword play around the mountains and forests since he was a youngling. As he grew to adulthood around the age of seventeen, he left his tribe to complete his right of passage required to reenter the tribe.
For all Silver Rock Shifters, these quests can take some time to complete, which found to be no exception for Lunaris, though he took his time. He spent his time learning about the depths of the forests and the other races that inhabited the cities along his quest. As well as mastering his skills with the longsword. He trained to use both his left hand just as well as his right. Along with being able to use them together rather than some sort of shield.
A couple years after leaving the tribe, he returned from his destination, [Insert far away major city here], where he hunted a large elk only to be found near this location, and brought back its antlers. However when he returned to his home, his village had been destroyed. It had been ransacked by a Grimnar fleet of humans and half-orcs for no reason other than they considered the village inhabitants to be “human dogs”. He found this out through his mother’s journal which was covered in blood. Her last moments explaining what had happened.
Rage built up inside of Lunaris and the desire to destroy Grimnars. It took all his strengths of control to keep him from following the tracks of these Grimnars and attempt to destroy them all. Instead he buried all he could; saving his family for last. It wasn’t until most were buried that he noticed some bodies were missing. Of these missing bodies, the one that stood out the most was his sister Suna’s. He looked for tracks of a Shifter that perhaps fled, but just as him, she knew how to cover her tracks. Hope swelled inside of Lunaris that someone from his family would be alive.
When burying his father, he found a note upon him. The note read “I left it for you”. Lunaris pondered what this meant, and after burying his family decided to look through the family hut. He found a loose slab of rock that he had never noticed before. He uncovered the rock and inside was his father’s sword which Lunaris always admired as a child. The sword comes from when his father was a warrior many years ago for Arcadia. He grabbed his father’s sword and felt a warm glow. This calmed Lunaris more than he could imagine. He had hope inside him again. Sister, more than likely alive, and his father’s sword by his side gave him courage. He knew things would be alright.
Lunaris spent a couple more years training harder and taking out all the Grimnars he could, covering his tracks each and every time. He knew his sister loved big cities, so he decided to go to his father’s short time home from years ago; the city of Mirnan. He though that perhaps if he wasn’t able to find his sister there, then perhaps he could find adventurers looking to go after some of these bastard Grimnars. His adventure continues from here…
